Born in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province, Ronnie Masilela (affectionately known as Ronmas) developed love for public speaking, business and community development from the age of 11. He is an action oriented person with a great sense of urgency and responsibility.
Ronmas is a certified business coach, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, product endorser and community builder.
Academically, Ronmas is doing an MBA degree. He possesses an Honours degree in BCom degree from UNISA and a BCom degree from Wits University.
Ronmas has over 13 years’ worth of working experience in the Government sector. As a spokesperson for Two (2) Mpumalanga Provincial Government departments for 7 years, Masilela also managed issues of Communications, Branding and Marketing.
He has established strong relationships with various stakeholders including but not limited to National and Provincial Government departments, municipalities, state agencies, private sector companies, media houses, NPOs and communities in general.
Today, Masilela is the Managing Director of Ronmas Media (Pty) Ltd, a company that drives (1) My Turn Magazine, (2) provide Business Coaching, (3) Motivational Speaking and (4) Product endorsement services. He has extensive consulting experience in his private capacity especially in the fields of business idea development, branding, media and marketing.
As a community builder, Masilela co-founded and chairs (since 2007) a group of former matriculants of Mthombo Senior Secondary School in Mpumalanga. This group is aimed at providing sound career guidance and advices to learners. This platform has successfully linked over 150 learners to bursaries and tertiary institutions, self-employment and employment opportunities after completing Grade 12.
