About Him
Born Ronnie Sthembiso Masilela in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province, Masilela who is affectionately known as RONMAS is a South African based Speaker, Coach, Entrepreneur and Communications Specialist. He speaks on various radio stations and events. Some of the radio stations he speaks on include SABC stations as well as community and commercial radio stations, he is also a coloumnist.
RONMAS is the founder of both (i) the Annual Mpumalanga Business and Investors’ Seminar which draws people from other South African provinces and African countries to Mpumalanga as well as (ii) the Annual Mpumalanga SMME Awards.
Academic Journey
Academically, RONMAS is an MBA graduate (UNISA’s Graduate School of Business Leadership), an Honours BCom degree holder (UNISA) and has a BCom degree (Wits University). He is also a certified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner.
Work & Community Builder
RONMAS is a serial entrepreneur who provides strategic leadership to a number of private sector companies and community based organisations.
He serves as a coach and mentor to many young and old entrepreneurs and others in Mpumalanga and outside. He has worked as Head of Communications and Spokesperson for the Mpumalanga Departments of Social Development and that of Health for 12 years. Prior to these roles, RONMAS worked as a Provincial Sales Manager for Umbono Capital (Pty) Ltd where he was responsible for Gauteng, Free State and the Western Cape Provinces for 14 months.
Over the years, he has established strong relationships with various stakeholders at National, Provincial and Local Government level, state agencies, private sector companies, media, NPOs and communities in general.
As an entrepreneur and a marketing fundi, RONMAS has extensive consulting experience in his private capacity especially in fields of branding, communications and media, business idea development, business sustainability and public speaking, amongst others.

MTN, FNB, SABC, community and commercial radio stations, Churches, Emnotweni Sun, Noma Nini Lodge, Barberton Mines, Working on Fire, SEDA, NYDA, National Empowerment Fund, Ehlanzeni District Municipality, Department of Education, Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation, Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature, NewsHorn Media, CircuFin Group, Men-Up, Lisango Lemadvodza and Leadership 2020 Sunday Circle, amongst others.
